The Abacus Brain courses

What do they learn?

Initially, students learn to manipulate the beads of the abacus to perform math calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).  Students also learn to visualise the abacus and are able to perform math calculations mentally without the physical presence of an abacus.

AB Preschoolers course

For children aged 4 to 5
1 hour lesson per week.
Training in abacus, image and speed listening.

We run holiday courses during the half-term and school holidays.

2 hours per day, Monday - Friday

How much does the course cost?

Course fee from £12 per hour plus one-off course material fees of £30. See below.

What materials are provided?

Student books - Abacus classes for kids have different books for each level.
Each book is structured level-wise and day-wise for better understanding of abacus for the children.
Each days practice is supported by the mathematical games incorporated in the books.
A separate book for parents which is structured to facilitate practice of their children at home, is provided.
